I took part in Coro Marmolada for about ten years (in the "vintage photo" hear beside I am the first at the upper right), and it has been one out of the best experiences of my life, mainly for the quality of human and social relations.

The ups and downs of my life leaded me to give up an obligation and a lot of satisfaction as well. For these and other reasons I must put it at the first place among my suggested links.

The cultural background of almost all the Italian popular chorus can be referred to, in relatively "modern" times, to the activity of S.A.T. (Società Alpinisti Tridentini, Tridentine Mountaineers Society), which gave birth to a chorus of people fond of mountains about in the thirties.
In a short time the SAT Chorus became an example for generations of lovers of the mountains, thanks to the genuinity of the proposed popular motives, the masterly manner of the composers (also the Italian pianist and composer Benedetti Michelangeli was among these) and of the masters, and not last of the vocal quality of the singers.

On 1949 some Venetians fond of mountains, of the choral singing and of the company, joined to begin to sing together. From that spark was born a real living organism, able to reproduce its cells to remain ever young not only in its body, but also in its spirit. This is today the Coro Marmolada, of whom I give you the link.
