Italian, born in Aversa (Caserta), started to study music since he was three years old.

After his moving with the family to Bergamo, he continued his studies to the Milan "G. Verdi" Conservatory of Music in the pianoforte-class of Alberto Colombo, under whom leadership reached a very brilliant degree in 1986 and started the post-graduate specialization.Later he had lessons of High Pianistic Specialization by the famous russian pianist Lazar Berman.

The pianistic career of Mario Parrella distinguished, till now, for his partecipation to the National and International most important artistic manifestations and for the always enthusiastic musical critics.

Winner of National and International Competitions, in 1994 he took part to a International Specialization course for Assistent to the "Teatro alla Scala" of Milan and here did begin the study of Orchestral and Operatic Conducting under the leadership of Adelchi Amisano and the famous Conductor Armando Gatto.
Still at the "Teatro alla Scala" he took part to Conducting-Stages by the most important Guest Conductors of the Theatre.

Mario Parrella made in 1996 his debut as Conductor with recitals dedicated to the Italian Baroque Music, to J. S. Bach and to G. F. Haendel.

Actually Mario Parrella, besides the activity of Pianist and Conductor, developes like Musical and Artistic Chief for the "Coro Lirico Bresciano" in Brescia.
